1 3/4 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 1/2 cups AP flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp roasted garlic powder (optional)
1-2 tsp of fresh rosemary, finely chopped (optional)
1/3 cup olive oil
1 cup water
Parmesan cheese for sprinkling (optional)
1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt and herbs. Stir until evenly distributed. Pour wet ingredients into bowl and stir until combined ( a rough ball will form)
2. Cover bowl and let rest for 20 minutes.
3. On a lightly floured surface, take 1/2 of cracker dough and roll out as this as possible (1/8 of an inch, suffices). Place dough on an ungreased cookie sheet and mark squares out with a knife, but don't cut entirely through the dough. Sprinkle your cracker sheet with grated Parmesan cheese.
4. Bake crackers in a preheated 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until crackers are crisp and lightly golden. The time in oven will largely depend on how thin your crackers are.
5. Allow to cool and then break crackers along cut lines.
